Suffocate - Shifted
album on repeat. there is a certain sound shifted has nailed. though staying more in the industrial and metallic sounding realm of timbre, he manages to have a sense of airy sparkliness on everything he does. the subtle changes and sparse arrangements just lead ears towards the major strength of this very album: the sound design. not that many tracks I would play out but a lot of incredibly rewarding listening experiences- appropriate listening environment of course required. just pick a good pair of headphones and listen to either the vinyl or at least the .wav digital version obtainable at your online record store of preference. we all should expect great things from this man.
